The duo are enough reason to watch ‘Elemental.’ Athie, especially, manages to perform in a voice that’s almost always on the cusp of tears. Lewis and Athie have great “chemistry” (you’ll get it when you watch the film), and their voice acting really brings the heat. The cast of the film really knocks it out of the park. Another amazing aspect of the film is how the animators have rendered each character. It’s filled with quirks that indicate each element’s place in the cultural fabric of the city. Element City’s production design is amazing.
Visually, the film is absolutely spectacular.

‘Elemental’ is full of soul and love, because it’s about people at the end of the day. It’s heart-warming, even when the going is tough for Ember and Wade. Director Peter Sohn and his entire team present the complexities of humanity in the film, using the innocence of their animated world to soften the blow.
